What is the UK ETA Visa?

It is electronically linked to the applicant's passport and is required for those who do not need a visa for short-term visits. Your ETA lasts for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner. You can travel to the UK as many times as you want while you have an ETA.
Who Needs an ETA?
Travelers from visa-free countries, such as the USA, Canada, and Australia, need an ETA for tourism, business, or transit purposes. However, UK and Irish citizens, as well as individuals with valid UK visas or residence permits, are exempt.
